PhD Mechanical Engineering Active as a volunteer in the community, José knows the importance of giving back to his community. He did this often by volunteers as a mentor for youth. José is a true believer in higher education, in retirement he pursued his love of medieval history, and began a master's program at San Jose State. In addition, Jose will do anything to convince young people that higher education is important in order to get ahead in life. For this PhD Mechanical Engineering reason this memorial scholarship was established to help students bound (s) to meet their educational goals.
Qualifications: * Must be Senior High School, or Junior College student
transfer to a four-year college or university currently enrolled
student at a four-year college or university.
* Minimum GPA 3.5
* Preference in Public Service
* Community Service
* Must be enrolled as full-time student at an accredited college
* Consideration based on U.S. citizenship
